What is it?: The 2021 Silent Auction is an online auction benefitting The Clagett Regatta, its mission and its sailors. Many of the unique items featured in this auction are nautically themed, and sourced from a wide variety of generous donors!

The Silent Auction is open to anyone who wishes to participate! We hope you bid often to snag a one of a kind item! As September 25, 2021 approaches more items will be added as the auction is updated. Please check back frequently.

How is the auction managed?: The Clagett Regatta is using 32Auctions to manage our online auction. Bidders can access the main Silent Auction webpage or view all available items.

How do I bid?: All bidding is conducted via The Clagett Regatta's official Silent Auction page. In order to bid follow these steps:

  • To bid on items it is required that you have a valid email address.
  • When you view The Clagett's available auction items you will be asked to make an account or login to 32Auctions. Look for the yellow box at the top of the webpage.
  • Once you've made your account you will need to confirm your email by clicking the link sent to your email by 32Auctions. 
  • Once your email is confirmed you can log into 32Auctions and you are ready to bid! (https://www.32auctions.com/2021-clagett-regatta, click "View all Items").
  • If you win an item an invoice will be sent to your email after the auction has concluded and you will be asked to purchase the item via credit card or by mailing a check to The Clagett office.

How do I know if my bid has been received?:  You will get an email from "noreply@32auctions.com" letting you know that your bid has been received.

How do I know if I've been outbid?: You will get an email from "noreply@32auctions.com" alerting you if you are outbid. 

How do I pay for my item?: When the auction has concluded on September 29 at 6:00 PM EDT you will receive an invoice via email. Simply click the link, login using the username and password you created to bid, and pay your invoice. Invoices are also payable by check.

Once The Clagett office has received payment they will make the invoice as "delivered." You will get an email from Sara Darcy to confirm how you would like to receive your item after payment has been processed (shipping, pick up, or drop off).
